The team at Clifton Agency participated in their second Fiera 5000 walk on 22nd June in London’s Green Park, a charity fundraising event in aid of the Childhood Trust. Hosted by Fiera Real Estate, over 100 participants across the real estate industry took part in the 15km circular walk from Trafalgar Square to Marylebone, via Green park, Hyde Park and Regent’s Park.
The Childhood Trust is London's child poverty charity, dedicated to alleviating the impact of poverty on children and young people living in the capital. Research by the Childhood Trust found that 40% of London children regularly miss meals and are going hungry due to the cost-of-living crisis.
The event was a huge success raising just over £103,000 for the Childhood Trust. Fiera received over 110 donations, with representatives from 25 different companies and over 2,200km was travelled across the various walking, running and cycling activities that took place.
In partnership with the charity, the funds raised will provide 80,000 hot meals, 1,500 counselling sessions and 2,000 extra education lessons for the children living in poverty in London.
Ben Simpson commented:
“It was great to get out in the sunshine with our client at Fiera Real Estate (and even some friendly pelicans!) to help raise money for The Childhood Trust. We are already looking forward to seeing what’s planned for next year!”
